Through the years we have added languages to our growing repertoire of broadcast narrations. We now have these 20 languages of Scripture.

Our goal is to keep adding more languages to our ever-growing list of Scripture narrations, which can then be broadcast to the people groups of the world where those languages are spoken.

Many of our supporters have asked how these projects of Scripture narration are done. The answer differs depending on the circumstances. Sometimes an adequate narration can be obtained from other sources, and we simply purchase the rights to broadcast them.

At other times, we must do the painstaking job of locating a dedicated reader with a good voice, who then comes to a rented professional studio and reads the Bible in the language we are doing while it is being recorded on a master file. All of these readings are checked over and over again, both in the studio, and afterwards for accuracy and effect. Many times changes must be made, and eventually we have another language recording of God’s sacred Word.

The average cost of such a narration is around $15,000, which does not include the cost of broadcasting the language once it is finished.

We not only broadcast these narrations over the radio, but also offer them in cassette and CD albums for people who wish to purchase them for their own use.

Currently, we envision producing the Scripture in Bahasa Indonesian, Farsi, Swahili, and making some needed corrections in our Chinese translation.
